Tuesday Aug 7th – NATIONAL NIGHT OUT                                                                 Get out and meet your neighbors!

Reports: Crime is down except for robberies. There are 15 New Neighborhood Watch Groups, Neighborhood watch is working keep it up!

Report abandoned carts, its illegal dumping.  City of Fresno Sanitation is helping to clean up.       Best way to report with the FresGO app!                           or call 621-CITY

Camping creeping up again, please do not give money to panhandlers on the street, it is not helping. Instead, donate to the Poverello House, Fresno Rescue Mission or any other shelter of your choice.

PAULA S. GUZMAN PINEDALE COMMUNITY CENTER

REMINDER THIS COMMUNITY CENTER IS A COOLING CENTER –                 ~FAX Bus system will provide free transportation along normal routes to and from centers.  Centers will remain open until 8 pm.

Pool hours:       M / W / F 1:00 – 8:00 (three weeks left!)                                 >>>July 25th Pool Party!   Sat / Sun 1:00 – 5:00

THE PINEDALE HISTORY PROJECT

Currently working on St. Agnes Church History for the Fresno Bee.  David would to speak with members of the parish members to include their comments, please email to set up a time to meet with David.

Arte Americas will have their next exhibit El Dia de los Muertos beginning August 2nd to October, Ambassador Sanchez will be featured!

Working with the historical society, soon they will list the Pinedale Water Tower as an Historical Site.

THE PINEDALE LIBRARY

The Summer Challenge is here – I-Pads, Digital Cameras, Storyland Passes and Zoo Passes will be given away!

Seats and tables have been replaced in the library.

July 31st 3pm, Cats and Birds of Prey will be at the library come see the Owls, Falcons!

County wide book sale at the Sierra Vista Mall

August 8th at 8 a.m. Drive the Book drop off –  Ch 24 & 47 will be announcing the book drive.

Please bring any unwanted books to the Book Drop Off.

August 16th – 19th Friends of the Library will be there to sell books in one of two store fronts in the mall.  Last day will be the super deals, $5 per bag!
